An Evening Under the Stars: Motown Legends
Birmingham, AL, April 25, 2024 - The Lawson State Community College Fine Arts Department is pleased to announce "An Evening Under the Stars: Motown Legends," a captivating event taking place on April 30, 2024, at 6 p.m. The AG Gaston Building, located at 3060 Wilson Rd, Birmingham, AL 35221, is the location for this exciting evening.
The event will kick off with a Red Carpet Pre-Show at 5:30 p.m., featuring the LSCC Jazz Band. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the delightful melodies of the Jazz Band while also exploring an Art Show featuring the creative works of Lawson State Community College's talented artists.
"An Evening Under the Stars: Motown Legends" promises to transport attendees back to the iconic era of Motown music. The Fine Arts Department, comprised of the jazz band, choir, faculty choir, art students, and speech students will present a musical journey celebrating the legendary Motown artists who have shaped the industry.
